Our Diagnostic Evaluation Process

Our evaluation process is thorough and tailored to each child’s individual needs.

  • Schedule an Enrollment Call: Begin by scheduling an enrollment call with us. We will connect you with a licensed clinician who specializes in autism diagnostics.
  • Telehealth Diagnostic Evaluation: The clinician will conduct a virtual session with you and your child, typically lasting 2-4 hours. This thorough evaluation uses standardized assessments, developmental history, and direct observations to assess social interaction, communication, and behavior. (In person evaluations are available in the Atlanta metro area.)
  • Review Results: After the evaluation, the clinician will review the results with you, answering any questions and providing clear insights into the findings.
  • Diagnostic Report and Treatment Plan: You’ll receive a comprehensive diagnostic report, including personalized recommendations for treatment and support to help guide the next steps for your child’s care.

CDC Resources

CDC’s “Learn the Signs. Act Early.” program aims to increase early identification of autism and other developmental disabilities. Recently, developmental milestones were updated to be placed at ages by which at least 75% of children would be expected to exhibit them (compared to 50% previously). This change is intended to move away from the "wait and see" approach and to increase the likelihood that children will be evaluated early.
