She holds a Master’s degree in Professional Behavior Analysis and a Bachelor’s in Sociology\, and has worked across a range of clinical settings\, including early intervention programs\, in-home services\, and multidisciplinary care environments. Carmen has supported individuals with autism\, ADHD\, and other developmental disabilities across the lifespan\, with a strong emphasis on early intervention. Her clinical work includes comprehensive assessments (e.g.\, VB-MAPP\, ABLLS\, AFLS\, Vineland-3)\, development of individualized\, data-driven treatment plans\, and supervision and training of behavior technicians. She is experienced in addressing complex behavioral presentations\, including communication delays\, adaptive skill deficits\, and severe challenging behaviors. In addition to her clinical expertise\, Carmen brings a systems-level perspective to care. She prioritizes caregiver training\, interdisciplinary collaboration\, and socially valid outcomes that meaningfully impact family life. Her approach is grounded in evidence-based practice\, with a focus on efficient\, high-quality intervention that promotes independence\, generalization\, and long-term success. \nLuisa Hernandez Medellin\, PSY.D.\, PMH-C\nBilingual Pediatric Neuropsychologist; PSYPACT-authorized\nNESCA Miami/Coral Gables\, Florida Office \nAs a bilingual pediatric neuropsychologist\, Dr. Hernandez Medellin conducts comprehensive and culturally sensitive neurodevelopmental and neuropsychological assessments\, comprehensive diagnostic evaluations\, and effective care plans\, providing appropriate recommendations for the client’s school\, home\, and the community. She specializes in the identification and assessment of neurodevelopmental disorders such as Autism Spectrum Disorders\, ADHD\, developmental and learning disorders\, and their co-occurrence with anxiety and mood disorders. She also works with children and young adults with acquired brain injuries\, epilepsy\, brain tumors\, strokes\, general medical conditions\, and genetic disorders affecting the nervous system.
