Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is an evidence-based therapy designed to increase independence and quality of life for children with autism (and/or related developmental conditions) and their caregivers. At Kyo\, we take a child-centric\, naturalistic approach to ABA\, incorporating each child’s unique interests and goals into their therapy plan\, creating ways for play time to double as learning time. DESCRIPTION:Kyo is excited to partner with Phoenix Families First Resource Center to host an informative presentation series on behalf of at the Goblet A.C. Beuf Community Center where we’ll provide valuable information\, practical strategies\, and a supportive community for parents and caregivers. \nIn this presentation\, we’ll discuss how to make meal time more enjoyable. Meal time can be stressful for anyone with young children. Difficulties with food selectivity and other meal-time challenges are even more common amongst people with autism. This can lead to nutritional deficits as well as difficulties participating in social routines.
